Dr. Ianacone is Professor Emeritus at the Graduate School of Education and Human Development at the George Washington University (GWU). He is Chair of the Advisory Board for the George Washington University Online High School.

Dr. Ianacone holds an Ed.D. from the University of Florida with an emphasis in career/secondary programming for the handicapped. He received his Masters of Science degree with a certificate in learning disabilities and emotional disturbance from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Ianacone’s post-doctoral study was conducted at the University of South Florida. His area of specialization and research interests are in the field of special education. They include transition from school to work, career assessment and career development, federal education and disability policy, educational change process, graduate education and leadership development, and grant development. His areas of expertise in technology include technology policy, learning with technology, and web-based learning.
